- Reference notes
- Synthetic N-terminally acetylated heptapeptide corresponding to residues 17–23 of thymosin beta-4, with natural L-residue stereochemistry and a free C-terminal carboxylic acid. Parent-peptide reference values do not establish a supplied lot’s counterion or salt form.
- Chemical source
- PubChem CID 62707662
- Physical form
- Supplied as a solid in a vial. Consult the applicable lot record for appearance details.
- Selected composition
- Single-component labeled material: 10 mg.
- Lot boundary
- Reference chemistry and sequences do not prove a supplied lot’s identity or composition. The label and lot record define the supported composition details. Excipients, counter-ions and hydration are unspecified unless those records identify them.
- Storage boundary
- Use the conditions specified for the exact lot, including any temperature limits. Protect the closed container from moisture and light, document excursions, and do not assume a shelf life that the supporting record does not establish.
- Handling boundary
- Handling is restricted to personnel trained for laboratory work. Choose protective equipment and containment under your institution's procedures, prevent material from contacting skin or eyes, and avoid creating airborne particles.

Research literature
Published research is separate from the evidence for a supplied vial. These links identify literature about the material, not findings for your selected amount or instructions for use.
- Analytical identification of TB-500 (Ac-LKKTETQ)
Esposito S et al. · Drug Testing and Analysis · 2012
Analytical identification study · Analysis of a TB-500 preparation and a synthesized reference peptide
Findings: High-resolution mass spectrometry identified the N-acetylated seven-residue Ac-LKKTETQ fragment in the analyzed TB-500 preparation; synthesis provided a reference for confirmation.
Limitations: Chemical identification of that preparation does not prove the identity or efficacy of another product.
